Arsenal’s No 1 goalkeeper Petr Cech had a nightmare between the sticks in their last Premier League game as his defenders let him down.
The Gunners took a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool on August 27 for their third Premier League fixture.
And Arsene Wenger’s men took an embarrassing 4-0 defeat back to the Emirates stadium.
There’s a chance for them to redeem themselves as they play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
And Cech is optimistic and believes his team can win the Blues.
“We have to draw a line after what happened (defeat to Liverpool) and move on.” he said.
“Last season we already beat (Chelsea) in the Community Shield and in the FA Cup final, so we know we can win.”
“Liverpool was a slap in the face, it’s not acceptable for a club the size of Arsenal and the team we are,” he told Sky Sports.
“Chelsea have the same goal as us, they want to win the title, so it’s a great game this weekend.”
“If we want to be up after two defeats, then we have to win the big games and this is the first opportunity for us to do so. “
